Christmas Lights Switch On in association with Hudson Group

Get in the Christmas spirit with the biggest lights show in Ipswich!

Head down to the town centre for an evening of entertainment, raucous pantomime antics and Christmas lights aplenty throughout the town.

Get in the Christmas spirit as Ipswich’s Town 102 takes you through the event build up and the mayor hits the countdown switch-on button.

Watch the on-stage performance from Jade Mayjean, the highly motivated Voice contestant that has a vocal range spanning genres including RnB, soul, house and jazz. Jade will be singing mixture of original tracks from her album and a selection of classic fun Christmas tunes as well.

Enjoy a sneak preview performance from the cast of The Regent’s Cinderella Pantomime

Don’t forget to join Hudson Group who will be giving away magical bags of Reindeer food for the little ones and collecting on behalf of their chosen charity Ormiston Families. You can find them taking selfies in front of Father Christmas’ sleigh!

Arrive early to get the best spot and we’ll see you there!

A special area with limited capacity has been set aside for people in wheelchairs and with mobility needs. The area is located in front of the Town Hall steps, accessible via the Princes Street entrance point.

Please note there is limited capacity for this event and gates will close when we have reached the limit.
