Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed at all of our outdoor events but sometimes they will be required to be on a lead.
Shows at the Regent and Town Hall & Corn Exchange allow assistance dogs. For more information about accessibility, visit the Ipswich Theatres website.
A bowl of water can be provided for assistance dogs.
What refreshments are available?
Catering is available at the majority of our outdoor events and specific vendors & offerings can be seen on individual event pages. We try to offer a variety of food options to suit all dietary needs such as vegan and vegetarian.
The Town Hall has a cafe selling hot drinks and snacks as well as a licensed bar in the main hall.
The Regent Theatre has a licensed bar and also sells snacks.
Can I bring my own food?
Customers can bring their own food to our outdoor events.
Please note that some third-party events and venue hires may have different conditions regarding food. We will publish any additional information on the event page.
Bringing food to events at the Regent Theatre and Town Hall & Corn Exchange is not permitted.
Is alcohol allowed?
At the majority of our outdoor events alcohol is not permitted. At Music Day, Open Air Theatre with The Pantaloons, Global Rhythm and the Indian Summer Mela, alcohol is permitted, the amount permitted is at the discretion of our security and should be limited to amounts for individual consumption. Our security reserve the right to operate a random search policy and we ask that patrons kindly co-operate with such a request, failure to do so may result in refusal of admission. Please note that some third-party events and venue hires may have different conditions regarding alcohol. We will publish any additional information on the event page. Bringing alcohol to events at the Regent Theatre and Town Hall & Corn Exchange is not permitted.
What about glass bottles?
We have a strict no glass policy at most of our outdoor events. The only event we currently allow glass is the Pantaloons Open Air Theatre. Please remember to make use of the appropriate recycling bins that will be made available.
Can I put up a gazebo at any outdoor events?
What parking is available?
On-site parking is available at Ipswich Music Day at a small charge. More information can be found on the individual event page. No on-site parking is provided at any of our other events. Ipswich Borough Council offer a number of car parks throughout the town centre. For more information click here.
Any group booking discounts?
The Pantaloons offer a group booking discount for families. Most of our events are free to attend. Group discounts are available for shows at the Regent Theatre and Town Hall & Corn Exchange on a show-by-show basis, please check the details of the show before booking.
Will there be any road closures?
Is there blue badge parking and general disabled access?
We provide blue badge parking at no charge at Music Day. Holywells Park has a designated blue badge car park. The Regent Theatre has a designated blue badge car park.
