Ipswich Town Hall Christmas Fayre 2026

Get into the festive spirit right in the heart of Ipswich.

Join us for a magical weekend as Ipswich Town Hall, Corn Exchange & Cornhill transform into a winter wonderland filled with festive cheer, unique gifts, and family fun. With plenty to see, do, and enjoy, it’s the perfect way to start off the Christmas season. The festivities will also be officially opened by the Mayor of Ipswich, adding an extra touch of sparkle to this special event!

Entry: Only £2 per adult, per day- children 14 & undergo free (Pre-booking your entry timeslot is highly recommended to avoid queues)

Location: Ipswich Town Hall & Corn Exchange. Please head to the Town Hall Main Entrance to start your journey through the venue.  

What to Expect:

• Christmas Market – Browse a wide range of handmade gifts, festive decorations, and seasonal treats from talented local makers and traders.

• Live Entertainment – Enjoy free performances from local choirs, schools, and community groups throughout the weekend.

• Children’s Activities – Take part in a free festive trail across the Town Hall and Corn Exchange, with plenty to keep little ones entertained including a Santa’s Grotto (available at an additional cost).
• Food & Drink – Tuck into winter favourites, sweet treats, and mulled wine to keep you warm while you shop.
• Festive Cinema – We’ve teamed up with King Street Cinema (based in the Corn Exchange) to bring you special screenings of your favourite festive films in their charming, traditional cinema setting. The perfect way to relax and soak up the Christmas spirit! Please book tickets directly through their website.
• Ipswich Town Football Club – Don’t miss Ipswich Town Football Club at this year’s Christmas Fayre! With festive activities, exclusive shopping opportunities, and a showcase of classic Town shirts from years gone by, there’s plenty to discover and enjoy throughout the day. Fun for all ages and a must-visit for Town fans.

Santa’s Grotto:

Step into Ipswich Town Hall’s very own Lapland and meet the big man himself and his elves! Our beautifully decorated grotto includes a festive photo opportunity walk-through and a magical meet-and-greet with Father Christmas – a truly special experience for children of all ages.

• £15.00 per child (first adult free)
