Ipswich Music Day
Ipswich Music Day returns to Christchurch Park and we’ll be celebrating 30 years of Music Day. There are six stages of live entertainment and music from local upcoming artists. Ipswich Music Day is the largest free one-day music festival in the UK and is a brilliant celebration of music, culture and local talent. As well as programmed stages we have fairground rides for children and adults, street food and a marketplace.
If you would like to be considered for a stall in our market area apply here now!
Onsite car parking will be available on the day via the Park Road entrance of Christchurch Park. The cost per car will be £5 for the duration of the event. There are also several Ipswich Borough Council car parks available close to the event’s venue. You can find a full list here.
Applications Now Open
Applications are now open and will remain so until 10am on 23 March. So, don’t delay! All musicians have to start somewhere (just ask Ed) so don’t be shy. An applications committee will look at what you can do and let you know later in the spring whether you have been selected.
Last year we had 180 wannabe stars come forward and 60 got their big chance.
As Music Day is a free event there are no fees paid to performers.
Thirty five thousand people, lots of family fun and all-round entertainment. The only thing missing is you!
