Open Air Film & Street Food Festival

*EVENT POSTPONED TO 2022* – Sadly Pop Up Pictures have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Open Air Film & Street Food Festival in August due to the uncertainty over COVID-19. We look forward to welcoming the event back to Christchurch Park next year.

In association with Pop Up Pictures, Ipswich Borough Council present four days of film and food in Christchurch Park.

There’s no better excuse for getting out in the sunshine and seeing your favourite films – at the same time! We’ll be filling Christchurch Park with the smell of delicious food and the sights and sounds of big screen delights, so come along to get the best seat in the park.

For this year’s festival of film, there will be 14 films over 4 days! From family favourites to classic horror, there’s something for everyone. Check out the 2-4-1 deals on daytime films too. Prepare to be spooked with three nights of late night horror movies on the Mansion Lawn.

The festival will also host a Street Food Market which is free to enter and includes a range of tasty vendors, from pizza to burgers, waffles to noodles, and more. The market will be open throughout the event to both cinema customers and the public.

Whilst there are local street food traders available, customers can also opt for the movie picnic pass tickets and bring their own picnics.
