First Sunday of the month
Ipswich Farmers’ Market
The county of Suffolk, steeped in farming and agricultural history and heritage, is getting its own Farmers’ Market in the county town!
Ipswich, home of the Tractor Boys, and a town synonymous with the great farming history of Suffolk will now host a monthly Farmers’ Market. On the first Sunday of every month, The Cornhill will host a number of stalls selling a vast array of quality products.
There will be some fantastic products at the market which will really show off all the fabulous local and artisan producers there are in Suffolk including locally reared, traditionally butchered pork from Greenacres, award winning beef and lamb from Heath Farm, fresh fish and seafood, beautiful garden plants and stunning cut flowers plus freshly baked sourdoughs from Woodbridge, jams and pickles, goat cheeses, spices and cooking sauces as well as some handcrafted gins! Street food trucks will be providing delicious Mac N Cheese and slow cooked pulled pork as well as other stores including East Anglian cheeses, Suffolk Honey and a huge variety of teas. This will be a market where customers can talk to the actual producer and really get to know about the product they are about to buy.
Make sure you put this in your diary every month and make a day of it in the town.
The Farmers’ Market will launch on the Cornhill on Sunday 7th April and run every first Sunday in the month from 10am – 2pm
